How Motability works
How does Motability work?
The Motability scheme take care of all the below running costs, so all you need to do is add fuel and go:

- Insurance (for up to three named drivers for cars and WAVs)
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs due to general wear
- Breakdown cover
- Tyre repair and replacement
- Windscreen repairs

Before you lease a vehicle through the Motability Scheme, you’ll need to make sure that you’re happy with the Scheme’s terms and conditions, which can be found on their website. Alternatively, you can speak to a member of our knowledgeable sales team, who will be happy to explain these to you to make sure you have all the information you need.

Step 1 – Choose your vehicle
Ready to fall in love with a new set of wheels? Explore our wide range of Mazda Motabiity vehicles available on the Motability scheme. When selecting your new vehicle, you should look at things like fuel consumption and any costs that may be applicable. This includes any upfront costs for that model, and whether you’re keen to add optional extras to the specification. -
Step 2 – Contact GMG Mazda
Once you have a vehicle in mind, it’s time to get in contact with your local Mazda GMG branch. Our Motability specialists will talk through your options with you, giving you advice that you may need to make up your mind. They can also arrange a test drive for you, so you can really get acquainted with the car. We will also be able to go through any optional extras that you’d like on the vehicle, allowing you to make your next car your own. -
Step 3 – Order your vehicle
When you’ve made your decision, our dedicated Motability specialist will complete your order and go through when to expect delivery of the vehicle, and what happens next. When that exciting handover day arrives, we’ll also take the time to go through how the vehicle's controls work, so that you can drive away with confidence.
