Honda SENSING® safety features

Using an intelligent combination of cameras, radar and advanced sensors, Honda SENSING® constantly monitors the road around your vehicle. Designed to support you in avoiding potential hazards, it helps deliver a calmer, safer and more confident driving experience.

All current Honda models come with the Honda SENSING safety suite as a standard, underlining Honda’s commitment to road safety.

Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow

When activated, Adaptive Cruise Control maintains your chosen speed while automatically adjusting to keep a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. In slow-moving traffic, Low-Speed Follow can assist with braking and acceleration, helping to reduce driver fatigue on longer journeys.
Lane Keeping Assist System

Lane Keeping Assist System uses a forward-facing camera to detect road markings and helps keep your vehicle centred within the lane. Gentle steering inputs are applied to support you when driving on motorways or major roads.
Cross Traffic Monitor*

When reversing from a driveway, parking space or garage with limited visibility, Cross Traffic Monitor alerts you to approaching vehicles, pedestrians or moving objects. Visual warnings appear on the infotainment screen, supported by audible alerts.

Road Departure Mitigation System

Operating at speeds above 70km/h, this system detects if your vehicle is unintentionally drifting off the road. It provides visual and audible warnings, applies gentle steering correction and can brake if required to help keep you safely on course.
Traffic Jam Assist*

Designed for heavy traffic conditions, Traffic Jam Assist monitors the vehicle ahead and can automatically brake to maintain a safe distance. It also provides steering assistance to keep your car centred in its lane. Lane Keeping Assist System and Adaptive Cruise Control must both be activated.

Blind Spot Information*

When changing lanes, Blind Spot Information alerts you to vehicles that may not be visible in your mirrors. Visual and audible warnings help make lane changes safer and more reassuring.

Honda SENSING 360°*

Honda SENSING 360° expands safety coverage to all sides of the vehicle. Additional corner radars and cameras reduce blind spots, lower collision risk and further ease the demands placed on the driver.

Active Lane Change Assist*

When driving on a motorway with Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist active, this feature supports lane changes. Once the indicator is used, the system checks the adjacent lane and, if safe, assists with steering into the new lane.

Front Cross Traffic Warning*

Front Cross Traffic Warning detects vehicles, pedestrians or objects approaching from either side when pulling out from junctions or driveways with obstructed views, helping you move off safely.

Collision Mitigation Braking System*

This enhanced system provides 360-degree detection, identifying vehicles or pedestrians that may be outside your direct line of sight, such as when turning at junctions. If a collision risk is detected, the system can apply braking automatically.

Lane Change Collision Mitigation System*

When indicating to change lanes, this system detects vehicles approaching from behind in adjacent lanes. It issues audible and visual warnings and can assist with steering to help keep you safely in your lane.

At the touch of a button, this system displays a 360-degree view of your surroundings on the central screen, with selectable side and overhead views. It helps reduce blind spots when manoeuvring in tight spaces, particularly in larger vehicles.

A camera mounted beneath the passenger-side mirror provides a live feed of your blind spot on the infotainment screen, offering a wider field of vision when changing lanes or parking.

Active Cornering Lights*

When turning or indicating at night, additional lights within the headlamp cluster illuminate the direction of travel, improving visibility and reaction time.

This hands-free parking system identifies suitable spaces using sensors and cameras and automatically steers the vehicle into position, even when bay markings are unclear.

Adaptive Driving Beam*

To prevent dazzling other road users, the system automatically adjusts headlight distribution while maintaining optimal visibility of the road ahead.

Reverse Auto-Tilt Mirror*

When reverse gear is selected, the passenger-side mirror tilts downward to improve visibility, making parking in tight spaces easier.
