Noise levels are reduced by up to 5.6dB, contributing to a quieter and more relaxing driving environment. On a full tank, the system can deliver a range of up to 777 miles.
Performance has also been enhanced. The new sports mode delivers 15 PS more power, and thanks to improved engine calibration, service intervals are extended to 12,500 miles or one year, adding further convenience for drivers.
How e-POWER Works
The e-POWER system is designed to be intuitive and efficient. The petrol engine produces energy that charges the battery when the vehicle needs it. That energy can either be directly supplied to the electric motor or used to recharge the battery. Importantly, the electric motor alone drives the vehicle’s wheels, ensuring a consistent electric driving sensation.
There is no need to plug in an e-POWER vehicle. Energy is also recovered through regenerative braking, where kinetic energy produced during braking is converted into electrical energy and fed back into the battery, reducing waste and improving overall efficiency.

Because the wheels are powered by an electric motor, drivers benefit from instant acceleration, making it easier to seize gaps in slow urban traffic. The quiet electrified engine helps drivers feel calm and in control, even in challenging driving conditions.
The availability of e-Pedal Step further enhances the experience, allowing a single pedal to be used for accelerating and braking in many driving situations. This can make stop-start traffic and uphill driving more relaxed and enjoyable, contributing to a smoother journey overall.
