The EV9 is available in two drivetrain configurations. The rear-wheel-drive model produces 200bhp and 350Nm of torque, with a 0-62mph time of 9.4 seconds and a top speed of 114mph. The all-wheel-drive dual-motor model produces 378bhp and 700Nm of torque, reaching 62mph in 5.3 seconds and topping out at 124mph. Both use the same 99.8kWh lithium-ion polymer battery. Under the WLTP combined cycle, the RWD Air variant achieves up to 349 miles, while the AWD GT-Line S returns up to 313 miles. All variants produce zero CO2 emissions in use.

Charging

The EV9 uses an 800-volt electrical architecture, which enables ultra-rapid DC charging. At a compatible 210kW DC charger, the battery can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in around 24 minutes, and the 800-volt system can recover up to 154 miles of range in just 15 minutes. For everyday use, AC charging at 230V and 48A takes around 9 hours and 5 minutes from 10 to 100 per cent. A 5-metre Type 2 charging cable is supplied as standard, and a three-pin emergency cable is also available. The EV9 also features Vehicle-to-Load capability, allowing it to power external devices directly from the battery.

Dimensions and Capacity

The EV9 is a large SUV, and its proportions reflect that. Luggage capacity behind the third row of seats is 333 litres, expanding to 828 litres with the third row folded. With all rear seats down, the load space reaches 2,318 litres on the seven-seat model. Both the RWD and AWD variants also include a front storage compartment, offering 90 litres on the RWD and 52 litres on the AWD. The minimum turning circle is 12.3 metres. Service intervals are set at 24 months or 20,000 miles.

The EV9's interior is centred around a triple-screen panoramic display, made up of two 12.3-inch screens and a 5.3-inch climate control screen. Seating and interior Comfort

Seven seats are standard on all EV9 variants, with the second row offering sliding and reclining seats as well as auto-folding functionality. Third row seats also fold electrically, and the flat floor throughout the interior means all three rows offer usable legroom. The GT-Line S grade offers an optional six-seat configuration with second-row swivel seats and a sliding console table, which turns the interior into a more social space when stationary.
