The EV6 comes with a choice of two batteries. The standard-range 63.0 kWh pack is available on the entry-level Air grade and offers up to 295 miles of WLTP range, making it well-suited to everyday city and country driving. The long-range 84.0 kWh battery is available across all grades in rear-wheel drive with up to 361 miles, while the all-wheel drive variant adds a second motor for a combined output of 325 PS and a range of up to 339 miles.

Charging Capabilities

The EV6's 800V architecture supports DC charging at up to 350 kW, which means a 10% to 80% top-up takes as little as 18 minutes at a compatible rapid charger. GT-Line S models also feature Kia's new Plug&Charge technology, which automatically starts the charging session the moment you plug in, with no app or card needed.

Dimensions & Design

At 4,695mm long, 1,890mm wide and 1,550mm tall, the EV6 has a generous footprint that it uses well. The 2,900mm wheelbase frees up plenty of space inside, and the boot offers 490 litres of capacity, rising to 1,270 litres with the rear seats folded.

Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go handles safe following distances in traffic, and Lane Keep Assist helps prevent unintentional lane drifting on longer journeys.

GT-Line and GT-Line S models add Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, which monitors the rear quarters and can apply braking to help avoid a collision when changing lanes. GT-Line S adds Highway Driving Assist 2.0, which can change lane automatically when you indicate and adjusts your speed through bends using navigation data. The flat E-GMP floor means no transmission tunnel eating into rear foot space, so the back seats feel genuinely comfortable rather than an afterthought. The upholstery uses sustainable materials throughout, with vegan leather and suede options depending on grade. On GT-Line and GT-Line S, the front seats recline to a near-flat position at the touch of a button, which makes longer charging stops much more pleasant.

Flexible Everyday Versatility

The rear seatback can be released remotely from inside the boot, which is a small but genuinely useful touch. GT-Line S models include Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, letting you power external devices such as laptops, camping equipment or e-bikes through a standard socket at up to 3.6 kW.
