About the role
Grainger Motor Group has recently acquired the Honda Chiswick site, and we are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Executives to join our growing team.
Whether you are an experienced automotive Sales Executive or an ambitious sales professional looking to develop your career within the motor industry, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at an exciting time.
You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience from the initial enquiry through to vehicle handover, while achieving your individual sales and financial targets.
Key responsibilities
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual vehicle sales targets
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process
- Build strong and lasting relationships with customers
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles and products
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives
- Maintain regular contact with customers and follow up all sales opportunities
- Use CRM systems effectively to manage enquiries and prospects
- Present finance, warranty and additional products appropriately
- Work closely with the Business Manager and wider dealership team
- Maintain excellent standards of showroom and vehicle presentation
- Ensure all sales activity is carried out in line with company and FCA requirements
About you
We are looking for someone who is driven, enthusiastic and passionate about delivering great customer service.
You will ideally have:
- Previous automotive sales experience, although this is not essential
- A proven track record in a customer-facing or sales environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident and professional approach
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- A target-driven and self-motivated attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
- Good attention to detail
- A full UK driving licence
